Choose deep cleaning for detailed work

A deeper clean is worth discussing when there is built-up grease, neglected corners or a property that needs attention before use. The difference should be visible in the agreed task list, rather than simply in the name or price of the booking.

Give specific examples: cupboard interiors that need cleaning, bathroom surfaces with visible buildup or skirting boards that have been overlooked. Photos and a description of the condition help define the work. Some marks can be damage or wear rather than removable dirt; ask the team to assess uncertain surfaces.

List specialist items separately

A sofa, carpet or mattress needs its own discussion of material, size and condition. These items are not automatically included in a general room clean. Include care-label information if available and mention earlier cleaning products or visible staining.
